Saturday March 22
Conjunction is now officially opened, after a day of writers' workshops and gaming. Today's schedule is a busy one, starting with the Floating Market. There's no entry fee for the Market - anyone can come and buy or sell, whether they're attending the con or not.
Right now there's still time to book a seat at the Banquet, though time and seats are both running out fast. $60 per person, of $70 to sit with a Guest of Honour (the extra $10 goes to the con charity).
Tuesday March 18
Only three days to go! The timetable has now been finalised, or as close to it as such things ever are. You can still sign up for our special events - attend the Writers' Workshops ($50 each), play in the Live Action Roleplaying (free!), go on the Sanctuary Tour with Elizabeth Moon ($35), dine at the Banquet ($60), or book a table at the Floating Market ($2 for con members, $20 anyone else).
Online registrations and bookings will remain open till Thursday evening, but any outstanding cheques must be posted to us today, or by fastpost only tomorrow. Failing that, you can pay us by cash or cheque at the registration desk when you arrive at the convention.
Wednesday March 5
Sunday March 2
Simon Clearwater will be filming a documentary on SciFi/Fantasy Fans at the convention. If you'd like to be interviewed for the documentary, email him at simonclearwater@hotmail.com, or approach him at the con. He will also be producing a 30-60 minute convention highlights DVD, which can be ordered from Simon for $25 including postage.
Saturday March 1

Monday February 18
Sunday February 3
Conjunction T-shirts are available now! Order online for pickup at the convention.
We've already got some great stuff up for grabs at the con Auction - take a look! But there's room for more, so if you have anything interesting you'd like to sell or to donate, get in touch.
One of the special events for the convention is a tour of the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary with our Guest of Honour Elizabeth Moon. Numbers are stricktly limited, so book now!
We're pleased to report that the accommodation situation isn't quite as dire as we thought, and there are still some rooms available at the Copthorne. Phone them rather than using their online booking form, which seems to be falsely claiming a lack of availability. But we do recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible.
The deadline for our competitions has been extended till the end of February. We have some great prizes, so get those entries in!
Friday February 1
We've had some technical glitches with this website in the last week, so it's been moved to a new address. If you registered or used any of the other web forms between Friday 25 January and the move to this new address, please contact us immediately.
Sunday January 27
We regret to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, Peter F Hamilton will be unable to attend the Convention. Peter sends his apologies to the fans hoping to meet him. Our other Guests of Honour - Elizabeth Moon, Kate Orman, Jonathan Blum, Philippa Ballantine, and Andrew Ivamy - will still be attending, along with some special guest panelists.
Convention accommodation is in short supply! Easter is usually a quiet time in Wellington, but this year multiple big events are taking place which has led to an unexpected shortage of beds in the city. If you're travelling from out of town, we strongly recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible. The Copthorne is already booked out for the Saturday night, but it is easy walking distance from a number of other hotels, backpackers, and apartments. Search for accommodation in Wellington on the Yellow Pages website.
